Bricks releases version 1.11 with over 100 changes and marks another milestone towards Bricks 2.0.
The most important changes & innovations in brief:
- New "Back to Top" element: Frequently requested and has almost become a "running gag". The "Back to Top" element is here and comes with advanced setting options such as only show after scrolling x pixels or only show when scrolling upwards.
- New element "Rating" incl. review scheme
- Accessibility improvements in the accordion and tab element: Chordions receive a new setting for generating the FAQ schema.
- New productivity functions in the Builder: For example, in the event of a memory error, a corresponding error message is displayed in the memory icon.
- Performance improvements of the builder: The upgrade to Vue.js 3.5 improves the performance of the builder. This ensures smooth builder performance even for larger pages with a large number of elements and classes.
- Access control for inquiries via the contact form: Access to form submissions can now be defined per role. Previously, the "Form Submissions" were only accessible to admins.
- WooCommerce - New dynamic tags: Thanks to the new woo_product_images and woo_product_gallery_images tags, product images can also be displayed outside the product gallery, e.g. in the image gallery or carousel.
- New interaction toggle for Offcanvas: With the new Toggle Offcanvas interaction, any offcanvas elements can now be addressed.
- Integration of Rank Math & Yoast content analysis: Page and post content can now be analyzed using the two SEO tools Rank Math and Yoast.
