Divi 5 is slowly coming to life. In the meantime, the penultimate phase - Public Alpha - before the official release has been reached ("Complete" is not correct in my eyes in the following screenshot) and a new version with bug fixes is released every 2 weeks.
This is what happened with V2 of the Public Alpha in the last few days. It contains 156 bug fixes. If you want to test this version, you can here via the demo access or download the latest version for your own installation. Attention: I would never install this version on a live site!
I did this again yesterday after a long time and I have to say that the Builder extremely fast and fluid is running. However, the many (and unfortunately necessary) add-ons from third-party providers for the most part not yet migrated. This means that you cannot test them yet and it is No truly realistic test possible.
From my point of view Divi will only become interesting again for new projects once missing features that all current builders can now offer have been implemented. These include, for example, a flexible grid and container system, more control over dynamic content, a native popup builder, more advanced animations and scroll effects, more and more flexible WooCommerce modules. However, this will only happen after the official release of Divi 5, so probably another few months.
