Breakdance has done it again! A new Version 2.3 was announced - as always first in a Beta - and brings with it some exciting new functions and improvements.
Most important new features in Breakdance V2.3:
- Revised search bar in the editorThe search function now allows you to filter by post type, create new content directly from the builder and edit template settings without leaving the editor.
- Accordion and tabs for loop elementsIn addition to the List, Grid and Slider layouts, we now have the option of displaying accordions and tabs in the loop elements.
- Quick insertion of elementsBy right-clicking on an element, it can now be quickly embedded in a div element or a wrapper link.
- Multiple dynamic data fields in one text field: It is now possible to use multiple dynamic data points within a text field.
- Further improvementsIn addition, numerous optimizations and bug fixes have been made to further increase the stability and performance of Breakdance. These include, for example, optimized code for the form builder and conditions for the date fields.
- User tracking to improve breakdancing: There is now an option in the Breakdance settings under Privacy to send anonymized data to the BD team. If you do not want this, check this setting as a precaution!
From my point of view, the changes to the search bar, accordions and tabs in the loop elements and several dynamic fields in a text field are enormously powerful enhancements. You can find the official contribution from Breakdance here here.
